Upgrading Kraftland Authenticator

The Kraftland moderation team of Trust & Security has decided to move away from our current authentication implementation.

Motivation has been generated from previous complaints:

• Login with Passkey requires more taps and clicks
• There’s no enforcement on OTPs
• Regular users cannot change avatar, name and email
• It’s slow…
• etc.

With the migration to Pocket ID authentication server, we have solved all of the above. With a new elegant look throughout cover and settings.

Migration

For existing users using our services, a new one time code for setup will be sent via Matrix. Please head to Kraftland Authenticator, then setup your account. Migration is needed in some extent:

• Log in your Matrix account @ Matrix Authentication Service to migrate your Matrix account.
• No action needed for Gatekeeper
